Guidelines

The top 4 ideas from each track will be invited to participate in a Fast Pitch Competition.

Teams will be asked to submit a 2-minute video “pitching” their idea to a panel of judges.

The scores from the Fast Pitch Competition will be combined with the scores from the Business Idea Competition submission and the top two teams from each track will be invited to participate in the 2024 Business Idea Pitch.

NOTE ABOUT FUNDINg

Due to the law, Rule 506c, we request that you do not put anything in your presentation about funding requirements, or even mention that you are looking for funding. If anyone in attendance at the Idea Pitch event wants to discuss money or funding with you we recommend you respond, “Due to the new 506c regulations I cannot discuss this with you in a public setting, but I would like to continue this discussion at another time with you if you are available to meet privately.” That will protect you from any potential issues in regard to Rule 506c. More information on Rule 506c can be found here.
